His entrepreneurial acumen emerged early in his career when he established a nationally acclaimed floral and event design business, earning the trust of distinguished clients including the Reagan family and contributing his artistic vision to the historic 1986 rededication of the Statue of Liberty.

For fifteen years, Gene stood as a pillar of excellence in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach real estate community, where his role as a distinguished broker transcended traditional boundaries. His dedication to professional growth and mastery is evidenced by nearly twenty prestigious accreditations, while his commitment to client service earned him consistent recognition, including nominations for "Who's Who in America" in both 2023 and 2024.
